green-ultralight-bjj-gi-men
DAAN Green Ultralight BJJ Gi for Men — 300 GSM

A green BJJ gi gets noticed for the right reasons. The sage tone on the Green Ultralight is muted, not neon, so it looks confident in a room full of white and blue without turning into a costume.

Underneath the color is a gi designed to stay light. The 300 GSM pearl weave jacket is lighter than the 450–550 GSM weaves many brands sell, which helps it breathe through long rounds and dry faster in the gym bag. The cotton ripstop pants keep your legs free in guard and when you scramble.

Green Ultralight gi specs

Jacket: 100% cotton pearl weave, 300 GSM

Pants: cotton ripstop, 260 GSM

Color: Sage green

Sizes: A0–A5, plus A1–A3 Husky and A1–A3 Long

Price: $130

Why choose a lightweight green gi

If you train in a warm room and want something different from the usual white, blue and black, a lightweight green BJJ gi is an easy way to do both. It also pairs well with every belt color, from white through black.

Sizing and fit

Start with your height, then your weight. Choose Husky if you are broad through the chest and shoulders, or Long if you are tall and lean. If you fall between sizes, take the smaller one, because cotton relaxes with wear.

Competition and IBJJF colors

Green is not an IBJJF-permitted color. The federation allows white, royal blue and black, so this gi is for training and local events. Looking for a federation-legal gi? Skip the dryer: heat shrinks cotton and weakens stitching, and a lightweight gi lasts longest when it is treated gently.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0319/9080/8714/files/2_a96fbee1-d449-4832-a2d2-1ba6a02a44b4.png?v=1791864242
