grey-ultralight-bjj-gi-men
DAAN Grey Ultralight BJJ Gi for Men — 300 GSM

A grey BJJ gi is the one you stop thinking about once it is on. There are no loud graphics and no competition-only rules to worry about, just a steel grey jacket and matching pants that look right at an open mat, a drop-in class or your regular Saturday session.

The Grey Ultralight is made for heat. The 300 GSM pearl weave jacket is lighter than the 450–550 GSM gis many brands sell, so it breathes better in a packed room and dries faster after class. The cotton ripstop pants stay light and move with you in guard and in scrambles.

Grey Ultralight gi specs

Jacket: 100% cotton pearl weave, 300 GSM

Pants: cotton ripstop, 260 GSM

Color: Steel grey

Sizes: A0–A5, plus A1–A3 Husky and A1–A3 Long

Price: $130

Why choose a grey lightweight gi

Mid-tone grey is easier to live with than white. It does not show every mat mark, and it looks right with any belt from white to black. If you have been searching for a gray BJJ gi that is light enough for summer, this is a clean place to start.

Sizing and fit

Size by height first, then weight. Choose Husky if you are broad through the chest and shoulders, or Long if you are tall and lean. If you fall between sizes, take the smaller one, because cotton relaxes with wear.

Competition and IBJJF colors

Grey is not an IBJJF-permitted color. The federation allows white, royal blue and black, so this gi is for training and local events. Looking for a federation-legal gi? Browse our IBJJF-legal gis or the full range of men's jiu jitsu gis.

Care

Wash cold on a gentle cycle the same day you train and hang it to dry out of direct sun. Skip the dryer: heat shrinks cotton and weakens stitching, and a lightweight gi lasts longest when it is treated gently.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0319/9080/8714/files/2_27730bc4-ab60-40ec-adcb-4ef429b55958.png?v=1791863990
