The Sky Blue Ultralight is bright and clear, with dark blue DAAN marks on the shoulders that stand out against the lighter fabric.

The color is the first thing people see, but the weight is what you notice in class. The 300 GSM pearl weave jacket is lighter than the 450–550 GSM gis many brands sell, so it stays cooler and dries faster. The cotton ripstop pants are light and tear-resistant, so they keep up with guard play and scrambles.

Sky Blue Ultralight gi specs

Jacket: 100% cotton pearl weave, 300 GSM

Pants: cotton ripstop, 260 GSM

Color: Sky blue

Sizes: A0–A5, plus A1–A3 Husky and A1–A3 Long

Price: $130

Why choose a light blue gi

A light blue gi is a good fit for summer training and for anyone who wants a colorful gi without going dark. Light shades also feel cooler to wear in a warm gym, although it is the lighter 300 GSM fabric that does most of the work.

Sizing and fit

Start with your height, then your weight. Choose Husky if you are broad through the chest and shoulders, or Long if you are tall and lean. If you fall between sizes, take the smaller one, because cotton relaxes with wear.

Competition and IBJJF colors

Sky blue is not an IBJJF-permitted color. The federation allows white, royal blue and black, so this gi is for training and local events. Looking for a federation-legal gi? Browse our IBJJF-legal gis or the full range of men's jiu jitsu gis.

Care

Wash cold on a gentle cycle the same day you train and hang it to dry out of direct sun. Skip the dryer: heat shrinks cotton and weakens stitching, and a lightweight gi lasts longest when it is treated gently.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0319/9080/8714/files/1_5c36661d-5c04-4822-8eb8-8a9a67634174.png?v=1791863905
